Bon in Sheffield

"I can honestly say as a fellow local independent business owner who has sampled all of the other local options, that Bon serves the best coffee and dining options in the Broomhill area, and that coupled with fantastic service from lovely staff who actually care about what they do is, in fact, quite unique. I would whole-heartedly recommend this absolute gem of a cafe/restaurant, who ethically source the highest quality local and organic produce and back it up with superb customer service. "Great place, with really good food. Popped there for a breakfast during our bank holiday weekend trip to Sheffield, and we really have nothing to moan about. Services and food were top notch, would recommend it to anybody. And be warned - portions are generous, make sure you are proper hungry when you get there"

"If I could leave more than 5 stars I would - I arranged a private event for our friends joint 30th which was such a night to remember. Amy and the team were so amazing, they were so responsive and accommodating. The food and atmosphere were 10/10 and I would absolutely recommend using Bon to host an event. Every person attending commented on how incredible the whole experience was and I will absolutely be returning in the day for a coffee too. Thank you again to the team!"

"Friendly staff, Many vege-dishes on menu. It is quite a spacious cafe, so i think it is very suitable for a big group. Open sandwich was nice with a cup of Latte."

"A great recommendation, a little expensive BUT I firmly believe if the food is up to quality, it's always worth it. I'm not usually bothered with chips, but the frites were perfect. Steak was a perfect medium-rare, baguette was simply delicious and perfectly crunchy. The only thing I would change is the peppercorn sauce which was a bit strong, but that's my personal taste so I won't complain too much as it was very well layered. As for the coffee, presentation and taste were 10/10. I look forward to revisiting sometime"

The drinks were tasty and the food was also delicious, it is just a shame that the service let this place down as the crew were clearly understaffed on the day, so we had to wait a long time and our order was also incorrect. Overall a good location and would recommend for brunch / coffee!"

"Bon Café – A Proper Spot for Brunch If you're after a solid brunch spot with good food and friendly service, Bon Café is definitely worth a visit. The staff were super attentive, always checking in without being overbearing, which made for a really pleasant experience. We went for a bit of a feast, sharing everything together! Round of sourdough toast – proper crispy, nice and chewy, exactly how it should be. Then there was the Yorkshire duck confit hash, which was rich, full of flavour, and just the right amount of indulgent. We also tried the specials – a French toast dish that was yummy, and a truffle and celeriac dish (the name escapes me, but I won’t forget the taste anytime soon! Was super yummy! ). Both felt like a proper treat. Only downside? The tables. Whatever material they’re made of means they’re a bit sticky, which is a shame because the place itself has a great vibe – perfect for catching up with mates over brunch. If I had the money, I’d probably be here every day. Hahaha! Anywho! Can’t wait to come back!"
